MLA Annual Meeting
 

    
     The Maine Lobstermen’s Association had its 53rd Annual Meeting. All MLA members and family were strongly encouraged to attend.  Drew Minkiewicz, formerly with Senator Snowe’s office, was the guest speaker.  Drew is now working as a lawyer with the Washington DC based firm Kelley Drye Collier and Shannon which is the firm that MLA has retained to help us in the fight with the much anticipated Final Whale Rule.  The agenda also included updates on pressing issues, priorities for the upcoming year and election of Directors.  There were be a free membership raffle for 2006 V-notch survey participants, and door prizes for members who were present!
