Aquaculture Lease Applications
How to Make the Process Work for You
 

    
     DMR staff and Chris Davis presented information and answered questions about the aquaculture leasing process. The session featured an overview of the lease application and review process, including examples of successful and unsuccessful applications based on the perspectives of both the reviewers and the applicants. The material focused on how applicants can maximize their chances of success and how people who are concerned about lease proposals can comment effectively so their information can be used in the decision making process. The panelists brought a strong history of hands-on and field evaluation experience to the discussion, as well as, specifics about what factors are legally permitted for consideration when DMR makes leasing decisions.
