     This was a panel discussion and question/answer opportunity between advocacy specialists and fishermen covering ways that fishermen might work collectively and individually to be sure their voices are heard in the management and political arenas.  Current and former members of the Maine State Legislature as well as experienced professional lobbyists were on the panel and shared thoughts on what makes an advocacy effort successful and how to craft a message people will listen to.
