       The seafood reception (hosted by Hamilton Marine, Beth Leeman, Stonington Fisheries Alliance, Maine Fishermen's Wives and the F/V Whitney and Ashley) was held on Thursday night and was a gourmet delight.
       Thanks to Samoset Executive Chef Tim Pierce and Sous Chef Lisa and their staff the night was a total success.  Sea Grant sponsored the ice sculpture "sailor at the helm" which was the focal point of the room.
       We'd like to thank the following organizations for donating seafood for this wonderful evening:  Great Eastern Mussel, Cozy Harbor, F/V Allegian, Maine Aquaculture Assn., Cook's Lobster House, Mark Bichrest, Alden Leeman III and the F/V Jennifer & Emily, Maine Lobster Promotion Council, Downeast Lobstermen's Association, Maine Import/Export Lobster Dealers Assn., Maine Lobster Poundkeepers Assn., Maine Lobstermen's Assn., BOATRACS, F/V Theresa & Allyson, Marshall Alexander, Kristan Porter, Stinson Seafood/Connors, and Novi.
