Community Based Fisheries
 

    
     We’ve been talking about grassroots fisheries management on a local level now for some time…Attendees met some of those who have really taken that to the next level.  Zone C lobster hatchery funded and managed on a local level…Scallop projects with a local marketing strategy and managed locally by fishermen and community members.  Midcoast Maine projects were highlighted also.
