Maine Softshell Clam Advisory Council
"Clam Day"
 

     Thursday’s “Clam Day” seminar highlighted topic this year was clam conservation and enhancement. A
panel discussion focused on clam reseeding, rotational management, flat surveys and clam enhancement
techniques. Audience participation was welcome. Attendees learned what other towns were doing for clam enhancement
and management activities. Attendees met with other clam committees and viewed displays and learned what others were doing in the industry!
