Amendment One to the ASMFC Shrimp Management Plan allows
more tools to be used to manage the fishery. These include limited entry,
gear modifications, area management, vessel size restrictions, and output
controls as well as season length. This seminar presented the results of
regional Sea Grant workshops and obtained industry input on Amendment One
and on shrimp management in general.
