DMR Landings Program
 

     DMR collects landings data to monitor the health of Maine’s marine resources to obtain information for use in fisheries management and to demonstrate the economic importance of the seafood industry in Maine.  To better accomplish this, DMR is looking to collect trip-level data from dealers while standardizing reporting requirements and simplifying the reporting process.  This was an informational meeting to explain the upcoming changes to the reporting requirements for dealers and harvesters and gather ideas and input from industry members before writing the proposed regulation.
