Variation in the Distribution of Bluefin Tuna in the Gulf of Maine
 

     Fishing success for bluefin tuna in the Gulf of Maine has varied considerably in recent years, with much speculation as to the causes.  This seminar provided an overview from scientists with expertise in bluefin biology, oceanography and recent fluctuations in other resources, including Atlantic herring.  An active discussion among scientists and fishermen wsd held.
